Eric Liebler is the founder
of Nisola, LLC, an advocacy and business strategy consulting firm that is
focused on serving clients in the field of neurology.
An emerging thought leader
and advocate in the neurological community, Liebler's core strength of
expertise is his deep understanding of the interplay between science, clinical
medicine, product development and commercialization. With a background in marketing,
commercial/clinical development, and finance Liebler works closely with his
clients to accelerate and enhance their ability to interact with the relevant
medical and patient constituencies.
Liebler has been an active supporter of
the AmericanAcademy of Neurology (AAN) for almost twenty years. His intelligent
personality and effective guidance has made him a major contributor to the
recent successes of the association. He
currently serves as Treasurer and public trustee of the AAN Foundation's board of trustees and was a founding member of the Foundation's Corporate
Roundtable.
Liebler has previously held
the positions of Executive Vice President for Corporate Development at
Pharmacopeia, Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Communications
for Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Vice President of Business Development for Enzon
Pharmaceuticals, and President of Amarin Pharmaceuticals.Liebler began his pharmaceutical career with
Athena Neurosciences, one of the pioneers of drug development in the field of
neurology, and subsequently served as Head of Strategic Planning for Elan
Corporation.
Most recently, Liebler
was the recipient of the prestigious 2009 AAN Foundation Chair's Award.
